8 Great Choices if you are looking for some healthier spots for a fresh start in 2023

  1. Botanica Restaurant & Market- Silverlake spot with a seasonally changing menu and a perfect patio for parties! 

  2. Calabra - this rooftop restaurant and bar located in the Proper Hotel serves up Mediterranean and California cuisine in a very stylish backdrop. Don’t forget to order the grilled laffa bread and Greek fries….it’s ok to cheat a little

  3. De Buena Planta - with two locations, in Venice and Silverlake, this Vegan Mexican restaurant, owned by the same people as Butcher’s Daughter, another healthy favorite, has a lively atmosphere and absolutely amazing tacos 

  4. Gjelina - one of the best restaurants in Venice, with a new location that just opened in NYC, Gjelina still remains the GOAT and while you might not immediately think of it when it comes to healthy eating due to the pizzas and pastas, they offer a wide variety of amazing vegetable-focused dishes 

  5. Malibu Farm - you have two great options here - the restaurant and the cafe at the end of the pier. The restaurant offers a few private dining options both inside and outside…with ocean views and a bright and airy space, you can’t go wrong 

  6. Plant Food + Wine - this Venice darling boasts  a locally sourced chef-driven menu with a variety of organic and biodynamic wines, offering a unique gathering experience around health-conscious food plus they have a lovely little outdoor space if you are looking to host

  7. Sant’ olina - located at the top of The Beverly Hilton, this spot is a melting pot of Mediterranean cuisine, California style…and since the Mediterranean diet is often hailed as the holy grail of health…you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu

  8. Water Grill- located on Ocean, right by the Santa Monica Pier, this place is the right choice if you are looking for decadent seafood towers and shareable plates. It is a seafood mecca and if you want a little surf and turf…we won’t tell. This space also holds up to 300 people if you in need of a larger space for an event
