Housed in a historic former produce market complex in Downtown LA’s fashion district, this Italian eatery earned praise from the city’s top food critics as being one of the best new restaurants of 2017. Chef Steve Samson’s Bologna-inspired menu features handmade pastas, market fresh produce, and an extensive in-house butchery and salumi program, all of which is complimented by both Italian and California wines and craft cocktails.
The impressively vast space wows with an open kitchen, marbled serpentine bar, and starry-lit vaulted dining room designed to create a convivial dining environment, while an outdoor piazza allows for al fresco dining. The restaurant also boasts an intimate downstairs wine cellar (which offers a glimpse into the chef's pasta workshop and butcher box), as well as a cellar available for private dining.
