It’s not hard to see why Ostrich Farm has been a neighborhood staple since opening in 2014. The intimate Echo Park establishment serves classic American heritage fare in a refined yet laid back setting. Husband and wife team Jaime Turrey and Brooke Fruchtman keep things simple here, evident in the minimalist decor and small menu that showcases comfort food done right, including roasted chicken, pot pie, and salmon tartines.

It is closed on Mondays but is still available for buyouts. They have the ability to stay open until 2am although the average closing time is 11pm on weekdays and 12am on weekends. You would need to do a full buyout in this space as they do not have a private room. The spot is located in Echo Park close to Dodger Stadium for Eastside events. It is a great after party space since it is open late-night.
There is a beautiful wraparound couch in green leather. The tableware is by local artisan Dceramics. Beautiful textiles from Blockshop adorn the walls. Homey textural napkins are made in-house. The florals on the tables are selected weekly at the Floral Mart. There is great care in all of the details here and a lovely place to host a smaller event.
They are known for their popular drinks such as the Dharma Bomb and the Clipper Ship.
